[💡R&D] Thick NMC811 cathode with just 1.8 wt.% TUBALL™ demonstrates low porosity/tortuosity, high Li+/e− conductivities, and excellent mechanical properties with stable cycling at high areal mass loading. The nanotube network within the electrode enhances electrochemical reaction uniformity and prevents side reactions at the electrode/electrolyte interface and NMC particle cracking without extra binders or carbon black, as detailed in an article published in Nano Micro Small.
